We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress Developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates. To ensure success as a WordPress Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress Developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.

The Paid Ad Manager portion of the role holds responsibility for the management of paid social ads and Google campaigns, as well as making website changes and updates based on client requests.

We are looking for an individual who can operate in a team-based, dynamic and evolving structure, is self-motivated and is passionate about online marketing.  An ideal fit for this role is someone who is highly motivated that can bring ideas and processes to our growing team. You must be able lead, manage, and be the driver of new and current initiatives.

WordPress Developer Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building the website front-end.
  • Creating the website architecture.
  • Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
  • Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Conducting website performance tests.
  • Troubleshooting content issues.
  • Conducting WordPress training with the client.
  • Monitoring the performance of the live website.
  • Discussing website design and function with clients.

Paid Ad Responsibilities:

  • Independently plan and form effective paid search strategies
  • Set up and build out accounts (Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin etc.)
  • Provide keyword research and analysis
  • Write and perfect ad copies
  • Work with the account managers to develop and implement strategic content plans across multiple channels
  • Review landing pages for optimization
  • Manage ad accounts on multiple platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, etc.
  • Perform bid management
  • Monitor campaigns, budgets, and performance
  • Analyze click-through rates, conversion rates, and relevant KPIs
  • Track campaign performance through daily pacing reports, weekly analysis reports, and monthly budget allocation reporting
  • Communicate with clients regarding campaign updates and/or answer any questions regarding campaign performance
  • Produce monthly campaign reports
  • Work with the online marketing team to maximize online marketing campaigns

Required Skills:

  • Experienced with WordPress for at least 3 years with a deep proficiency, including: bug fixes, theme customizations, PHP updates, Google Search Consul / Analytics, plugins, Woo Commerce, LMS integration, forms (pre-built + custom), POS solution integration, building custom reports, Google Ads integration, UX/design updates, and more.
  • 2+ years of paid ad experience, including display, remarketing, and social ads
  • Expertise with architectural changes and complex customizations
  • Complete understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP
  • Experience developing responsive design websites.
  • Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
  • Strong understanding of PHP 7.4 and MySQL 5.6+ back-end development
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and multitask to meet strict deadlines
  • Adaptability to change direction of a project on a moment’s notice
  • Comfortable working as a team with ability to clearly convey ideas and solutions to problems and projects
  • Understanding of latest SEO trends and best practices
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous work in, or significant exposure to, a marketing environment
