Did Someone Say PUMPKIN SPICE?

Sniffffffff. Oh, that smells so good. Snifffffff. Oh, yeah, that’s the stuff. Oh! Hello there, dear reader. Don’t mind me – I’m just huffing this pumpkin spice candle like my life depends on it.

Yes, yes, yes, now before you get all ‘Oh my gosh he’s so basic,” and “Ew pumpkin spice is so gross,” I want you to start looking around for a new pair of pants. That’s right: pants. Because if you don’t like pumpkin spice, dear reader, you are the poopiest of the party poopers.

As you know, it is this spectacular pup’s very first fall. As such, I have made it my ultimate mission to try everything this season has to offer. Let me regale you with everything I’ve experienced so far.
First, I of course had to try frolicking through piles of fallen leaves. That was a given. Being the stocky and clumsy pup that I am, it ended up being more of a chaotically tumbling adventure, but hey – close enough.

Next on the agenda: pumpkin patch! Ah yes, nothing screams fall like picking out your very own pumpkin to sit proudly on your porch and watch it slowly rot over the course of three weeks. Invigorating stuff.

Then, I tried my paw at apple picking and made sure to sample every single type of apple I could get my paws on. Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, Gala – you name it, I ate it. And let me tell you, for fruit, they were pretty darn tasty.

But nothing – and I mean NOTHING – has compared to the impeccability of pumpkin spice. Coffee, candles, cookies – you name it. If it’s pumpkin spice-flavored, I’ve tried it and loved every single second of it.

Not to mention, pumpkin is actually really good for dogs. You all know how … unfortunate my bowel situation can be, and pumpkin is a natural remedy for that. It’s like my own personal fall miracle.

So yes, dear reader, I am unapologetically obsessed with all things pumpkin spice. And if you’re not on board with it yet, I highly suggest you hop on the bandwagon before it leaves without you. Trust me, your tastebuds will thank you. Oh, look at that – the candle is almost burnt out. Time to go get another one! It’s not going to sniff itself hehe.
