To be sure, the outcome of one study found that 94 percent of businesses reported a rise in their conversion rates after personalizing their websites; another study concluded that companies that personalized their emails experienced a 92 percent increase in conversions.

This data shows that the personalization of online marketing efforts can clearly have an overall positive outcome on a company’s bottom line; however, it’s important to note that this strategy only works when done correctly (not all companies experienced the same positive effects of personalization). Here are some tips for making your marketing and SEO efforts more personalized–

Start With Data Collection

It all starts with collecting the right data about your users and your customers. Once you understand more about who your customers are (men/women, young/old, city-dwellers/suburb-livers, socio-economic status, interests and likes, etc.), you’ll be able to create buyer personas and more targeted, personalized ads.  

Plan Your Content

Again, rather than just posting content to your site randomly, each piece of content that you upload should be planned and intentional.
