From tutoring and grammar-checking to blogging and editing, Hope Slusser has found that her greatest joy is found not in writing alone but in helping others find their voice and providing an excellent product. After graduating in May 2026 from Cedarville University, she is excited to utilize her bachelor’s degree in English, supported by her minor in Editing and Publishing. She has been editing since middle school, always reading her friends’ essays and stories, and has honed those skills through continued use and university classes. Writing well has always been a passion, which she exemplified through working at Cedarville University’s Writing Center. She helped students apply rubric requirements and grammar rules, while maintaining their written voice and personality. Currently working as a Website Content Specialist for NUVEW, Hope writes to provide uniquely curated blogs and website pages for each client.
When she’s not working, Hope enjoys golfing, coaching softball, serving on the YMCA Board of Directors, running, reading, drawing, embroidery, and crochet.

Howl’s Moving Castle from Studio Ghibli.

Both! I loved my dog, Dagny, growing up, and we currently have a black cat named Kismet—he’s a menace though.

My laptop. Most realistically, it’ll always be some form of technology.

Youtube. I might be physically incapable of sitting in silence. I always have some game playthrough, commentary, or video essay, playing on my phone.
